Did you know the average sales price for a single family home in Danbury,CT increased 9 % to $322,877 as compared to the same time period, one year ago.

In the same time period, the average days on market dropped by 12 days to 114 days from 126, an improvement of 10% over the same period last year. Median days on the market also dropped 13% to 70 in 2017 over 2016.

Across the board for all  single family homes in the Danbury, the average price per square footage for a single family increased $6.97 a square foot up to $158.54  The average percent of the original list price that home sellers received for their property was up 1% compared to last year, 95%. The percentage of the final asking prices held firm to 97.47% from 96.8%.This is showing minimal negotiating room for Danbury homes . 
 
Even with the higher prices and fewer days on the market, more homes have been sold in Danbury in 2017 compared to 2016. In 2017, 511 were sold compared to 449 in the previous year.That is an increase of  about 13% from the 2016 year statistics.
