Well, the drama, the build up, the parties, the travel, the arguments over who is the best, and all the hype is dying down in Minneapolis. (My Hometown)
What few quick lessons can we glean from this for our own life improvement and even business application?
1. Don't listen to your critics. When the Eagles "playoff hopes" looked bleak with Carson Wentz getting injured, the team and even Nick Foles simply focused on the task, and didn't talk about hopes, they talked about executing their game plan....every game!
2. Hard work WINS! During the game, it was apparent to me, maybe you that the Eagles seemed to work harder on most every play. The Patriots were HIGHLY skilled, but seemed to fade off an on with their interest and execution. (Not that different from the Vikings fade of effort two weeks ago, sad but true!)
3. Don't be too proud to ask for HELP! One thing that many commentators and news people talked about were how many more Eagles fan's there were at the Super Bowl than Patriots fan's. Simply put, for any number of reasons, the Eagles were inspiring to people. That support was evident at their games, and certainly the Super Bowl. Asking for peoples support is "easy" when you inspire them with your passion!
Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles and the humble & unlikely
(MVP) Most Valuable Player - Nick Foles!
