BUSINESS COUNCIL HOSTS A DISCUSSION ON THE NEW TAX LAW

If you would like to know the answers to these questions you should attend The Business Council of Westchester's program on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

The morning's keynote speaker will be E. J. McMahon, who is founder and Research Director for the Empire Center for Public Policy.  His organization focuses on improving New York's economic competitiveness and promoting greater transparency, accountability and fiscal responsibility in state and local government.

The presentation will examine who will be hurt and who will gain by the new tax law.  Panelists with include experts from business, real estate, and non-profit sectors.

The new tax code has a lot of  people scratching their heads. This should be well-attended.  I keep hearing people wondering if they should prepay their 2018 property taxes. I'm sure this topic will come up at the meeting.

Great topic, Grant and now is the time that everyone is discussing this - most without full knowledge of the law. It's wonderful that the business council is taking this on so, hopefully, it will clear up questions attendees may have.
