SurveyMonkey - a Useful Tool for Client Feedback

By
Real Estate Agent with Compass CA DRE# 01215160

In the "old days" of real estate I used to send a paper request to clients requesting feedback after a transaction had closed. Fast forward to now, and I'm using SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey responseSurveyMonkey is easy to use, both for the sender and the respondent. There is a free version allowing one to ask 10 questions.

We'll be switching up the questions a bit; I want to give links to Google Reviews, Yelp! and Zillow when I ask for testimonials. (But, I certainly won't change Question 2: What can we do to improve? I love the answer here--it made me laugh out loud!)

Next, I want to figure out the best way to get video testimonials. There's always something new to discover and learn, but for now, SurveyMonkey works just fine.

Have you tried it?

Myrl Jeffcoat - SurveyMonkey is free--at least, there's a free version which is what I've been using--so you might want to give it a try.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson - getting feedback from our clients can help us improve.

Hi Endre Barath, Jr. - we can't be afraid of feedback if we want to get better at what we do, right??

I'll check it out Lottie. I also think it's important to ask if we can improve our service in any way.

Check out SurveyMonkey and see what you think Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD and George Souto It's super easy to set up a free account; easy for the respondents, too. I have my assistant send it out so clients hopefully feel more free to answer honestly, especially if there's something I should do better.

This is a perfect idea - at least for all your clients who use the Internet. Much easier for people to just type in the answers and hit send than to write it out and then manage to get the reply into the mail. Cheaper for you too - you don't have to send out stamped return envelopes!

Hi Wayne Martin - do you use SurveyMonkey? I'm finding it very useful.

Hello Kristin Johnston - REALTOR® - a mention in Kathy's "ah ha moments" is always an honor.

Hi Will Hamm - give SurveyMonkey a look -- practice on a friend or colleague - see if it's useful to you. Free is a good price!

Hi Marte Cliff - SurveyMonkey is great - free, simple for me, simple for respondents, quick -- not much beats that.

Hi Sharon Tara - I bet you could find fun ways to use SurveyMonkey!

Good morning, Tammy Lankford, - the form of our surveys doesn't matter; the fact that we request feedback does. Good job!

Hi Jeff Dowler - yes, I had to laugh when I read the survey comment about "cloning Lottie." I have great clients!!

Good morning, John Wiley -So far SurveyMonkey is working well on an individual basis. I'll be massaging my questions a bit, I suspect.

Hi Mike & Cindy Jones - I need to figure out how to put a link to online sites where I'd appreciate testimonials right in the SurveyMonkey form. Life (and business) is a work in progress.
