Sacramento County experienced a 13% increase in number of homes listed FOR SALE in January 2018 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -1.2% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales increased 21.9%.
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

I'm also pleased with the uptick in number of listings. Shortage of inventory has been an issue!
It's a good thing for the increase. Oklahoma City did the same thing and the icnreased sales was a great result.

Hey Myrl: Shortage of listings continues to plague Sacramento. Any little bump was wiped out by the furious demand of buyers. I am so busy right now with new listings that I don't have time to work on my taxes, much less figure out how to renew my license or pay bills, LOL.
But we still need to do lunch. Maybe in March.

Nice to see your inventory went up in January from a year ago and also the pending sales. Wow!! Myrl Jeffcoat, I still remember last year and your photo of the Daffodil field. Many times thoughout the year I thought about that field. Loved it!!
