How do you stay top-of-mind with friends and clients? I 
was in the dollar store recently and scooped up a ton of these candy hearts, you know the ones that have sentiments imprinted on them, like "Be Mine", "Together" and "Cutie Pie".
I attached a label with my contact information and picture on it. They tuck inside your purse and you can hand them out instead of a business card at this time of year. A stranger stood behind me at the checkout line and struck up a conversation. He asked what I did for a living and I gave him a candy heart.
My granddaughter was invited to a spend the night party and I sent a batch to the hostess to use as party favors. A local restaurant has a bowl full of them at the check-out.
I mailed 100 Valentines to my past clients, too. Thanks to a marketing group I'm in on Facebook, I also shared a Valentines video on my business page and several neighborhood groups.
It's not too late, but you better hurry to the dollar store if you want to implement these ideas in time for Valentines Day.
