Hmmmm - seems it is getting warmer each day in Westcliffe, Co.  Had a high of 85 degrees today in Orlando.  Golfers teeing off at 7:30 am still have a very pleasant day golfing.

Interesting that in one of our family homes here the Florida Comprehensive Alligator Management Program, which addresses concerns about 'backyard' alligators, was called.   The trappers were in full-blown mission this afternoon in one of our community's backyards.  There was a family of alligators living in two ponds - a Mama and Papa Alligator and their 7 kids.  Unfortunately they only managed to capture one of the 12 feet long kids...the 18 footer Mama and Papa and their 6 other kids are still free and in hiding.  Though the men worked diligently to find the family, they were unsuccessful.  About 50 of us watched a very interesting show.  Wow, when the alligator clamped down on one of the long capturing poles, he did not let loose for over 20 minutes.  Finally the trappers removed the long pole and the alligator.  It will be relocated where he is no longer a nuisance or danger.  Currently there are over 1.3 million alligators in Florida.  Became clear to many of us today that we are not interested in a certain job/line of work.  :)
