The Hawaiian Humane Society is funded entirely by generous, caring supporters like you.
When it comes to supporting the non-human members of our greater O'ahu 'Ohana, donating a little of one's money, time, and talents to the Hawaiian Humane Society can help a lot in improving the quality of life for our entire community.
Host a pet food/ supply drive: when individuals and groups donate pet foods the Hawaiian Humane Society can devote more of its resources to animal protection and saving lives. To drop off food donations go to 2700 Waialae Avenue at the Hawaiian Humane Society temporary collections container or the Admissions center day or night.
Participate in our Foster Care Program: Hawaiian Humane Society’s foster care program helps to save thousands of orphaned animals, as well as owned animals in which families are in crises. Nearly 150 animals are in foster care at any given time so more providers are always needed. This program can also help students fulfill service learning hours with their families in their own home with parent consent. Parents must attend the training class and students may earn up to 3 hours per day.
Volunteer at an event: Help make Hawaiian Humane events successful by volunteering. Positions include set-up team, booth management, event administration, clean-up crew and more. If you are interested in being placed on an email list to notify you of upcoming events please email Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
