Being mindful of what we write and to whom we are writing should be first and foremost in our thoughts, every time our fingers touch a keyboard. We never know who will search for us or just by chance find us!!
We perform many tasks that reflect our personality. We maintain the condition of our home to mirror us; we keep our vehicles in a condition that reflects us; we cook, eat, exercise and dress in a fashion that reveals our thinking and how we live.
Business is the other side of our lives. It, too, is a reflection of us. The way we deal with buyers and sellers tells us a lot about who we are. The methods that we use to market reflect our thinking and are indicative of our philosophy of our business and life.
Marketing requires time, and one needs to not only be focused but have the time set aside to think properly, in order to produce quality marketing. Whether it be online or offline marketing, time management plays a critical role with marketing.
Time management is a reflection of the organizational skills of an agent and that agent’s ability to perform an important task with a quality outcome. Our personality is ingrained in our marketing. The way we think and the attitude we have toward listings, homeowners, buyers and other agents are deeply rooted within our marketing.
Positive and negative thoughts always radiate from our marketing pieces. Close the laptop if you are in a foul mood!! The energized agent will produce marketing materials that reflect that powerfully positive, state of mind. A mentally and/or emotionally stressed marketer will produce a less than desirable marketing piece.
Just another thought for the moment…..
