Useful Websites #4
I have joined the blog-a-day blogathon for next 30 days. This is day 4 of the 30-day-challenge.
In these 30 days, what better could it be to share something either I learned from some of the ActiveRainers or some other resource online and share it with the group?
At times, I may not know where and how I learnt about the websites and may not be able to give due credit to someone who informed me about that, but I still want to Thank all of them who contributed to my knowledge which I plan to share.
You can create a free account on many of these websites and some of them may have some minimal subscription fees. I am sure, these websites will help you in your business - one way or another.
(Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any of these websites not do I derive any income from any of these sites - except that I do subscribe to some of these services.)
Here is #4:
I am sure you'll laugh at me if I ask a question - do you have a website? In fact, it is assumed that there are more than 2 million real estate related websites (and most recent count for agents/brokers who are the member of NAR are close to 900K - so average is more than 2 websites per agent/broker.)
Let me not bore with this statistics - let me talk to you about WebsiteGrader.
At one of the recent training session, I was told it's better NOT to have a website as compared to totally non-functional website. True or false, I don't know - but there is always a main question after you have a website - is it working? Let me cut-n-paste the functionality for this free resource:
Is Your Website Working?
How well is your website doing? Is it getting traffic? Does it have SEO problems? How popular is it in social media?
Find out the answers for free. Just enter your website URL and click Generate Report. We'll do the rest.
And, that's it. Just provide your website address - and if you have a competition, provide competitor's website address. Click on 'Generate Report' and bingo - you have your website graded in few minutes.
The report is detailed enough and have few suggestions on how you can bring up the grader score. (One of my website was expiring soon - and just by renewing the domain name, the score went up considerably.) The report is based on blogging, your social media presence, Mozilla rank, Google index pages, inbound links etc.
If you have not tried it so far, spare couple of minutes and go to http://www.WebsiteGrader.com and find out the 'visibility' of your website.
And here is the link for previous useful website links:
