The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival is February 24 & 25, 2018!
What better way is there to enjoy our beautiful South Florida weather and watch over 600 artists create with color and chalk right before your eyes than the Annual Lake Worth Street Painting Festival?
The Lake Worth Street Painting Festival
February 24 & 25, 2018
Saturday and Sunday
Starts at 10:00 AM
Downtown Lake Worth
On Lake & Lucerne Avenues
Admission-FREE
Billed as the “world’s largest street painting festival” this event has been drawing huge numbers of attendees since 1995. Stretching for blocks, you have the opportunity to watch as these special artists create using only chalk and their creativity.
Don’t worry about satisfying your appetite because there is a Main food court, a satellite bistro, food carts, and the local restaurants in the downtown Lake Worth area.
Music…
What’s a festival without music? The music begins beginning at noon on Saturday at the Main Stage at the Cultural Plaza in downtown Lake Worth.
There are free parking lots as well as park-and-walk lots in the downtown area.
You can also take the Tri-Rail where there will be a free shuttle that drops you off in the festival area.
There is also a Park N Ride at Palm Beach State College.
In the FAQ section of the website, this is my favorite answer to “How long do the paintings last?”
Until traffic and the weather wear them away.”
You can find more FAQ’s here.
