Focus on the Remedy Not the Obstacle

Reblogger Kathy Streib

This rings very true, especially with our recent events.  It's too easy to blame someone or something but wouldn't we all be better served if we came together to find a remedy?

Focus on the Remedy Not the Obstacle

“Don’t find fault, find a remedy.”

Henry Ford 1863 - 1947, American Entrepreneur Founder

Ford Motor Company

As I see it . . . .

Focus on the remedy not the obstacle

When you’re facing an obstacle you have a choice . . . . you can focus on the remedy to cure the condition. Or you can focus on the obstacle and become overwhelmed by the condition.

The choice is yours . . . .

In looking for a remedy . . . . you are investing your time and energy in a productive process in finding the solution. In focusing on the obstacle you are using your time and energy looking backwards which, becomes an unproductive use of your time . . . . and your looking in the wrong direction and won’t remedy the condition.

Focus forward look . . . . for the remedy to the conditions that you’re encounter.

You’ll find the remedy to your obstacles . . . . by looking forward and taking the actions that are required to find the best workable solution to the condition.

Focus on the remedy not the obstacle . . . . and you will create the forward momentum to successful navigate and to remedy the obstacle.

Kathy Streib Thanks for re-posting this. I have been struggling with an issue and I have been focusing on the problem. I am going to sleep on it tonight and focus on the solution.

If it were a disease, we'd all die of Finger Pointing.  I've backed off of FB lately, and unfriended a few people who felt I was uninformed on their point of view.  Like any major problem, I have to think, what can I DO?  How do we get to a yes?

Lou was a very wise man and worrying about obstacles in our paths certainly won't get us around them.

Hi Kathy,
Good choice for a reblog.  I also find identifying possible obstacles ahead of time helps to avoid them.
