Kentlands Kingfish Swim Team Registration

The following notice was published by the Kentlands Kingfish Swim Team leadership:

Kentlands residents mark your calendars for an afternoon of fun as you register for the Kentlands Kingfish 2018 summer swim team on Saturday, May 12th, 1-4 pm at the Kentlands Clubhouse!

Registration includes participation in Kingfish practices and meets plus all registered swimmers receive a Kingfish cap and bag tag.

The Kentlands Kingfish swim team coaches and Kingfish board members will be on hand at the clubhouse to answer questions, register new and returning swimmers and to help your swimmer find the right size swim suit.

Join us also on the Clubhouse lawn for a family cook out and Kingfish kite making event to get to know your fellow teammates and parents or to re-connect before the swim season starts up again.

With 210 registered swimmers last year, the Kingfish swim team will celebrate its 19th annual season this summer. The team offers swim meets for swimmers of all levels and also a large pre-team program designed for kids just learning their strokes. In addition the Little Kingfish program, taught by the swim team coaches and Kingfish team members, gets younger children comfortable in the water in order to learn the basics of swimming.

Ever wonder what that construction project is down the street? Curious about the status of a pending development? Just want to be "in the know" about all things Gaithersburg? Check out the interactive "Projects" map on the City's website. Zoom in to the area you'd like to explore, and then hover over a highlighted parcel to see a quick summary. From there, click on the link for details, which could include annexation agreements, exhibits, upcoming meeting notices, and more.

It is sometimes a good practice to revisit old blogs and reblogs. We might even find some good ideas for current posts.
