Happy Hour Wine Selection: J. W. Morris California Chardonnay

 

Chef Dolores and I dropped by Pinky & Pepe's Grape Escape in Kentlands for happy hour and tried the J.W. Morris California Chardonnay. We enjoyed this selection and will order it again. You may also wish to try this inexpensive white wine.

 

Tastings Review of J. W. Morris Chardonnay

"Yellow straw color. Delicate, fruity aromas and flavors of kiwi and vanilla nuts with a silky, bright, fruity light-to-medium body and a smooth, buoyant spiced apples and pears, nuts, and lemon curd finish with light oak. A solid chardonnay sipper."

I had lunch at Frasinetti's Winery with Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents today.  We enjoyed a bottle of the winery's Chianti.  I haven't had Chianti in decades.  Very enjoyable.

Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents - Those two bottles are still in the bag, sitting on the passenger side of my car.  I was so sleepy when I drove into the garage, that I came in here and did a two hour face plant on my pillow.  I suspect those two bottles will find their way to my table the next time my family comes home!
