Hi, I am looking to head to the coast for this holiday weekend and I am looking for a good National/State Park to camp/hike/etc.  I love outdoor photography and would prefer something along the coast.  Depending on the location I choose, I might also take my kayak to fish/dive as well.   Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Huntington State Park and Atalaya are both really neat parks near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Brookgreen Gardens is also a wonderful place to visit with beautiful landscaping, sculpture and natural trails.

I made a trip over to Cape Hatteras and kayaked around pea island and camped at Oregon Inlet.  I had a blast, I didn't have much luck fishing, but I was able to take some great photos of birds in the area.  On my way back I stopped in at Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge and kayaked for a few hours.  It was awesome as well and I am going to make a trip back one weekend to spend more time there.  I was also told that peartree preserve? near alligator national wildlife refuge is a great place to kayak.   I will check it out soon.   Thanks for the help.
