The father started with one store in Santa Monica. He had the idea of an international pancake breakfast house, and at the time he had a great following, because the food was delicious. He then opened another one in another area of LA, and another one. A consortium offered to buy his concept of internation types of pancakes, and the price was right. The family owned an office building in Beverly Hills, and we were the leasing agents for it. It is where I met Leonard Nimoy who was considering leasing a space there, and decided not too. Since then the building was sold and has been annexed to the building next door. A
