Ok, so the other day, I just had one of those days...You all know what I'm talking about. I felt like I was on a Roller Coaster...a long one with twists and flips...so I shared on Facebook. Not sure why I shared there, maybe another part of the day....
The roller coaster that is an agent's day...
And here's the day...
Woke up to an offer I thought I was not going to get on a listing that was going to expire...HALLELUJAH!!!! I couldn't believe it and neither could the seller! We were both jumping for joy!!! (I represented the seller on this one)
Next find out that a buyer's offer was accepted, we weren't the highest and we were contingent, but buyer's wrote a beautiful letter to the seller...DAY IS GOING TO BE GREAT AND MY BUYERS ARE OVER THE MOON EXCITED (represented buyer obviously on this one)
Then seller decides to accept the offer mentioned above 😀 HAPPY...HAPPY
Then appraisal comes in low on one of our pending sales 😥...THIS DAY JUST WENT TO ..... (represented this seller and by the way they are the buyers that wrote the beautiful letter above so their day was a roller coaster too). Appraiser had told me we looked great...so what happened???
Then receive a request for repairs on another listing which needs to be negotiated...MORE ..... (represent seller on this one). Thank goodness seller and buyer on this one are both reasonable; that's what I love a WIN WIN for both parties! Then negotiate a WIN WIN for everyone on low appraisal...HALLELUJAH...thank goodness...was very worried about this one!
Then find out that a buyer wants to close early on one of our pending sales and seller has no where to go....DON'T KNOW WHICH WAY TO GO ON THIS ONE. (represent seller on this one and not sure yet if this is good or bad for seller)
Now, about to call a listing that we've had on the market for 5 days and have a full price offer on....YAY!!!
Everyone always wants to know why Realtors are crazy...does this help to explain it???? And especially since this was only half the day!!!
I love what I do. I have been doing it for almost 30 years. I love my clients and so many of them have become friends! It's a great business and also a roller coaster of emotions!
