How can you see a home in the dark?

Real Estate Agent with Godzyk Real Estate Services NH License 033394

An interesting trend with feedback from buyers inspired the owner of a listing to make changes. Every buyer who saw the home after dark, mentioned on how dark the area in front of the home was. The Seller searched for a way to light the area. Over and over he was told post lights would make a big difference. There was old light posts, they long did not work as the power had been cut to them long ago. The cost to rewire was huge though.

We discussed Solar LED Light fixtures that just screw on the top of the poles replacing those non working lights. It came with a kit to adapt to mounting on a home or on a deck rail. He bought four of them. A couple of nights later, it looked like a different home.

I purchased one for my home earlier during winter. A tree branch laden with ice took mine out. The biggest surprise for me was my electric bill was $40 less a month. It payed for itself in 2 months.

As far as my new listing, it is light and bright now. We got an offer over the weekend and should have it under contract once we get the buyers pre qual letter Monday.

The MOST IMPORTANT message is to share with every consumer that my philosophy is simple, provide more personal and professional service to guide clients through each step of the buying or selling process. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest. Those that hire me, find a dedication like no other.

Nothing like shedding a little light of the subject my friend. Good job by the seller for listening to feedback. I need to get a few lights for the front of my house as well.

I never could figure out why so many home owners live in the dark both inside and outside their homes, Scott. It's one of my pet peeves. The minute it gets dusky all my exterior lights come on.

Hi Scott,
I usually tried to avoid after dark showings but having good lighting is important.

Isn't it something how people learn to live without something as simple as an outside light fixtures until somebody else notices and shines a light on the subject? Scott Godzyk  - You really do care and made a sale!

Congratulations on a very BRIGHT idea!!!

Morning Scott.

Such a simple solution, I wonder why the owner didn't think of it. I'm sure the owner will sing your praises, thus making the phone ring
