Do you have the pulse of your community niche(s)? You should. Video is a great vessel for owning a marketplace. Schools, major employers, restaurants, parks, neighborhoods, businesses, and people come to life via videos.
The benefits of Community Video Marketing :
Buyers: People find you because of your library of videos introducing them to the communities, neighborhoods, businesses and people in your market. Who can compete with the true community expert? Exactly.
Sellers: Potential sellers also want the local expert selling their property. If you’re the one who brings the community and neighborhoods to life, they’ll find you. If you can do that for a community, imagine what you can do when marketing a listing? Exactly.
BombBomb featured an article showcasing some videographer/realtors they felt were worth mentioning. I chose several of them to give you some examples and hopefully, get the creative juices flowing.
Here’s Dana Green in Lafayette, California. She did a series of videos about local schools - and does a good job incorporating her services into the mix. We noticed she did the same intro for all of the area schools videos ( a big timesaver). For those of you who are camera shy, Dana doesn’t appear on camera at all - just a photo and contact information at the end of the video. There goes that excuse!
We enjoyed watching this one from Anne Jones and Marguerite Martin from Tacoma, Washington. It's as short and sweet visit to a local coffee shop. Can't you nearly smell the coffee?
Raziel Unger does a nice series of videos featuring the various neighborhoods where he sells homes. We like the professional, yet laid back style - and the short length of his videos.
