Florida's Governor, Rick Scott, signed a new gun law today. The bill raises the age you can purchase a gun to 21. The NRA filed a lawsuit against the State of Florida.
The bill also makes bumpstocks illegal. Bumpstocks are used to make semi automatic rifles fire automatically.
There will now be a 3 day waiting period to purchase a weapon.
There are provisions whereby law enforcement can take weapons from those where they assess it dangerous for them to have a weapon temporarily.
