A few years ago a friend I bowled with called me and said his Dad had passed, and needed to sell the family home. There were three brothers, but one was the Personal Representative for the estate. The one I bowled with was doing most of the work on the property, and the brother in Dallas was the one I worked with directly on this sale.
The other brother (that I had never met) called earlier this year saying he would like to buy a home, and his lease would be up end of May. I set him up on a drip last month, just so he would get an idea of how FAST homes were coming on and going under contract.
He got all his paperwork in quickly, and he divulged to me, this would be his VERY FIRST HOME, and he is buying it with his grown son. How kewl is that!!
First day out, we only had five to look at, but one was perfect for them. I was SHOCKED to say the least when we did not have to compete with other buyers, and they were under contract 2 1/2 hours after we submitted the offer. This was so nice, because the multiple offer situation gets really stressful, especially for first time buyers.
He is looking forward to the day he receives the keys and can move into a home with an attached two car garage!
