Just curious if you get real leads by having an xsite.

I get real leads from my xsite quite often. I'm always working on it but I have got a bunch of leads and actually closed a few! If you want to check it out go to www.LiveLakeArrowhead.com .

Thanks- Nathan Diones

I am with you.  I have a hard time getting leads from any site.  It seems like I spend more time and money researching and investing in sites and trying to figure out how to "blog" and how to get my name out there.  The only success I have is from split fee or management companies.  And seem to be working very hard for very little.  Getting discouraged.

Dawn -

After answering you offline about Xcites, I asked my CEO and a previous boss about their experiences with Xcites.  Our company were coerced into using Xcites by one "large" client (who never sent over a single order after the site was set up).  Ashcroft received no other business through Xcite.  The other company had a similar experience.  I remember getting a lot of nuisance 'comp requests' through the site, but I really can't remember getting an actual order out of it.

The previous boss really like the idea of the online ordering/status system and tried to get all of our clients to enter their appraisal requests online.  As it turns out, hardly a loan officer would consider the 'extra work' (because they already had a Calyx form filled out) and so it was my job to enter them into the system separately.  This was not even for our own convenience... the information was re-entered because Xcites rates your company by how many orders and how quickly their completed.  The better your ranked, the higher up on the list you go for other potential orders.  This turned into a real time waster.

Hope that explains a bit more.

I enjoy my website that I CUSTOM designed on appraisersites.com. Economical and I link my website to my online advertising. Works out well.

Nathan - Thanks for you comment.  When I bought the xsite, they actually told me to look at your site as being one of the more successful xsites.  It looks great!!!!  I have not gotten any leads but I'm working on it more.

I have had the new ACI365 web site since January of this year and have had only one lead, still waiting to see if it pans out or not, and my site is still a work in progress as well! Hope you receive a hand full of apprasial orders by the end of today!

Having a website has attracted all kinds of business leads for me. I have people finding me on Goggle all of the time. I have gotten a few orders directly through my website so it did pay for me to have an Xsite over a regular website. In today's world you have to be online to keep up with the competition.
