With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, festive jamborees are springing up all over Atlanta.

 From brunches to pub crawls, there are countless ways to feel “the luck of the Irish” while celebrating the holiday.

 

Grab your green attire. We’ve found seven St. Patrick’s Day events that will be sure to make you merry.

 

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY IN THE BATTERY ATLANTA

When: March 17, 8 a.m.

Where: Live! at the Battery Atlanta

Cost: $30- $60 for food and drink passes

What: Come out to the St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Live! at the Battery Atlanta to partake in the parade, entertainment, music and prizes. The event will kick off with Kegs and Eggs, and attendees will get a chance to win a trip to Ireland. The festivities will be fun for the whole family, but note that the event turns to 21+ after 8 p.m.

HEAR LIVE BANDS AT A BUCKHEAD BLOCK PARTY

When: March 17, 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Where: Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant

Cost: $20 per person

What: Plan to party all night at the St. Patrick’s Day Block Party hosted by Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant. The event will feature bands, such as The Muckers and Kaleb Hensley Band, along with Irish dancers and a DJ. Beer and cocktail tents will also be pitched outside during the outdoor bash.

REVEL IN ST. PATRICK’S DAY AND MARCH MADNESS FESTIVITIES

When: March 17, 12 to 5 p.m.

Where: ASW Distillery

Cost: $15 per person

What: Tune into the March Madness game at ASW Distillery’s St. Patrick’s Day party. Green drinks will be served, along with whiskey samples, mules and sazeracs. Buying a ticket will also give attendees access to hear live music and to tour the space.

WATCH THE ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

When: March 17, 12 to 1:30 p.m.

Where: Peachtree Street

Cost: Free

What: Rain or shine, the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade will kick off at 15th St. NE and Peachtree Street. Join the crowds and watch the lively procession of floats, drill teams, bands and more march. Make sure to come early around 11 a.m. to secure a spot with a good view.

RIDE THE ATLANTA STREETCAR THROUGH THE CITY

When: March 17, 12 to 4 p.m.

Where: Odd Fellows Building and Auditorium

Cost: $20 per person

What: Take a seat in the Atlanta Streetcar to participate in the 4th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl. The 21+ crawl will include Downtown spots, such as Atlanta Braves Bar & Grill, Noni’s Bar & Deli and Hudson Grille. Purchasing a ticket will give attendees an Atlanta Streetcar day pass, five complimentary drinks and entry to the after party.

EXPLORE MIDTOWN DURING THIS DAY BAR CRAWL

When: March 17, 1 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Where: The Daiquiri Factory

Cost: $20 per person

What: Sip on specially made drinks at the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl starting at The Daiquiri Factory. Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, Zocalo Mexican Kitchen & Cantina,10th & Piedmont and G’s Midtown are also participating in the festivities. Tickets include admission into bars, and be sure to check in for registration at The Daiquiri Factory from 12 to 8 p.m.

EAT BRUNCH AT BONE LICK BBQ

When: March 18, 12 to 7 p.m.

Where: Bone Lick BBQ

Cost: Free Admission; $15 for table reservations

What: Munch on brunch selections, such as creole shrimp and grits, at Bone Lick BBQ’s Mardi Gras Edition of SŌL Food Sunday. The restaurant will be offering $15 bottomless vodka, rum and mimosa drinks, along with tracks spinned by live DJs.
