Typically, my #1 article for the year is my flagship hardwood flooring trend post (which I publish annually). But, this year, I had a nice surprise...and article that surpassed all of my flooring articles. It's about painting.
My #1 article by far shows the best interior paint colors for selling a house. This article is doing extremely well due to a pinterest pin that went wild. Then, I created a 2nd pin and it also did amazing. I was getting around 16,000-18,000 clicks/month in Jan/Feb, so I'm now on a quest to accelerate it again. I just created 2 new pins, so we'll see. And, it's now gaining some traction on google.
My #2 article is about 2018 hardwood flooring trends. So far, it's doing well with 7,000 clicks per month. I'm hoping it will grow more as the weather gets warmer.
My 3rd best article is about the pros and cons of luxury vinyl (and what is luxury vinyl?). This is a fairly new product that's innovative and rapidly growing in popularity. It currently gets around 6,400 clicks/monht and has a companion article which is getting 5,600 clicks/month, so collectively between the tow, I'm getting a bit over 12,000 clicks/month.
My goal is to grow these further, and hopefully have a few other homeruns. All of them were written within the past year. I have several others also doing well (e..g 3,000-5,000 clicks/month that were written several years ago.
