Motivational Power Quote

Don’t Keep it a Secret

“Everyone wants to be appreciated, so if you appreciate someone,

don’t keep it a secret.”

Mary Kay Ash, Entrepreneur and Founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics

As I see it . . . . . . .

Don’t keep it a secret

Don’t keep it a secret . . . . Show your appreciation.

Appreciation that is expressed will lift the person’s spirits and tell that person that their efforts did not go unnoticed.

When you share that appreciation with others you will strengthen the person’s self-esteem . . . . and encourage that person extend them self in the future.

Showing appreciation is a act of recognizing the persons . . . . their efforts and thanking them for going the extra mile in their efforts.

Most people go through their life and through their business activities

. . . . without ever being appreciated for what they do or for what they achieve. When you appreciate the people around you and you show it . . . . it becomes a game changer in their lives.

By appreciating them and their efforts . . . . you spark the person and the people around you to lift them to a higher level increase their self-esteem and extend their efforts.

Don’t keep it a secret . . . .when you show your appreciation . . . . people will respond  positively to the praise and will step up their efforts to hear the praise in the future. The organization, the people will become more production and bring out the best in themselves and enhances the entire environment.

Aw, the Lou factor. Isn't this the truth? Just a little bit of atta' boy, or atta' girl, can be a big assist for many.  It's not enough to think it, we have to let someone know they are appreciated ( and seen).

I find that when people do a good job for me I thank them personally.  Makes them more likely to do the same quality work next time!
