This time of year, each and every day in Charlotte, we see a new sign of spring - and I LOVE it! First the buds, then blooms on the Cherry trees, then the Daffodils and green spotted all across the city. This week, just in time for Easter, the Tulips are blooming all over the place - it's just SO exciting to me! I love spring and all of the beauty that Mother Nature brings our way.

We are so blessed to live in such a gorgeous city that provides picturesque views all over the city, four true seasons each year.

Debe Maxwell, CRS, your post/photo sort of reminds me of a Saturday I once took a flight from Chicago O'Hare Airport. I was doing college research on the works of Kahlil Gibran, Lebanese-American poet at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

It was a very quiet day and just a soft rain. The university grounds looked pretty much like your Spring Photo and to top it all off, two little squirrels scampered across the wet lawns as the Chapel Bells struck 4:00 as I left to return home.

The amazing thing is in the university library basement, they brought me a huge box of very personal writings, letters, items, etc. of the poet...I sat there by myself in the basement archives for hours. Your photo brought back those memories. Have a wonderful day!
