Introducing Mel Robbins, Someone you should get to know.
I have mixed feelings about the Ted Talks platform.
On the one hand there are some great nuggets of wisdom in those hours and hours of talks.
Yet there are a whole lot more hours of self-important blathering that must be sifted through to find that wisdom on most days.
Which brings me to my point.
Recently I read a great blog post, that had a video clip in it that I originally ignored, after all the post was great on its own without me taking 20 minutes that I did not have available to watch a “Ted Talk”.
But for some reason I went back later when I had a little more time and took a look at the video, and I am glad that I did.
The video was of a speaker that I had heard of before, but never taken the time to listen to up until then.
I really should have checked out her material earlier, she really is very good and I went on to watch a few more of her works later on.
Entertaining, often irreverent, and good looking too!
