Laughingly, Ron referred to us as Napa Consultants, we are open 24/7, these past two weeks. At last the bulk of our project is completed on time and on deadline. As some of you may know, we work on at least two time zones at a time. Here is how tight our timelines were.
With 8 day's notice, we had to write scripts for two videos, interface with different entities supplying us with photos, work with our designer on logos and video titles, and also design the 3 open house brochures for the printer (EST) to have ready on Saturday afternoon for the open house.
Last Friday evening, the videographer (also on EST) had completed a requested video. It was not perfect. He agreed to get it done after he had his dinner. Ron set his alarm for 5AM, Saturday. He reviewed the video, gave it two thumbs up, as did the client.
One more hurdle, that video had to be uploaded on our client's website. Our web developer lives in Texas, Central Time Zone. We emailed him the link and he had it in place by 9AM EST, when the Eblast was scheduled.
Today is a day off for us. Pictured above is a shot of Lake Casitas which is part of the Ventura County watershed, nestled in the mountains near the Ojai Valley, which is where we began our half day off yesterday.
Wishing you all a great week ahead.
