Oklahoma ranks middle of the road (24/50) in state rankings for property tax burdens.  Where does your state rank? WalletHub has recently published a very informative article complete with graphics that really illustrate the tax rates in different states.  Below is the map which ranks states by property tax burdens for 2018.  There is a chart on their website which is more specific than the map, with actual percentages.  Oklahoma is ranked 24 out of 50 states at 0.89%, with the lowest state being Hawaii at 0.27% and New Jersey being the highest at 2.40%.
