Pretty interesting Randy. I would have thought being Hawaii they'd be priced much higher.

George - The maintenance fee on this one is $270/month.  The normally run on one this size and age between $300 and $400/month.

Monika - We have some really good values compared to parts of the west coast.  San Francisco and Orange County have passed us up.  We also have much higher priced properties and communities.  Mililani is popular because it is a nice planned community with reasonable prices.

Thanks Randy, that is a little higher than it would be around here.  The same type of Condo where I am in Connecticut would normally be between $$170 and $250, and we have snow to shovel.......LOL

George - I think our insurance is higher because of the hurricane coverage.  We also replace roofs more often because of the tropical sun.

Randy,

Looks like a nice place to live.  Where is Mililani located from Waikiki? I've driven all around the island and don't remember this city.  However my memory isn't what it used to be.

Lucky :)

George -  We call those things the price of paradise.

Lucky - Mililani is above Waikele, two towns up in the center of the island.  (About 5 miles north).

Randy,

Thanks.  I drove north from Waikiki and went way up a hill to a lookout park area that was really cool.  I literally drove into the rain and when I went back down the hill, drove back out of it....weird.  Is the elevation of Mililani the same as this lookout area I went to or does it go back down on the other side of that hill?

Aloha,

Lucky :)

Lucky - Mililani is at a higher elevation.  We tend to be cooler in the summer.
