Happy Easter to Those Who Celebrate!
These eggs are eggs I decorated years ago. Pysanky as they are called in the Ukrainian tradtion of which I was raised. Using bees wax on the surface of an egg is a difficult thing. My patterns took on a life of their own, nothing that would win an award, but I am glad I had the experience of doing these eggs. I also wove the fabric and embroidered the flowers. I enjoy this time of year. Happy Spring!

Gloria, Happy Easter! Those eggs are amazing, reminded me of when I was a kid and my mother used to paint the eggs, I wish I had some pictures of them... My father used to blow out the inside of the eggs with two pin holes on top and bottom and then she would paint them.... Now I am ashamed to even post my boring colored eggs, Endre

Endre Barath, Jr. those are wonderful memories you have. I used to do the same thing with the holes and blowing out the egg...a hard process. Then I purchased a gadget that forced the egg out in a much easier way. Oh please do share your wonderful creations!! We all shine in our own way, the joy is in the making no matter what.
