Washington Grand is a 55 and over community in Township of Washington, NJ that was built in the 2000s and is an upscale complex.
The complex has one level condos in midrise buildings with elevators and indoor garages that make for easy entrance no matter what the weather. The units have storage and terraces to relax and enjoy the morning sunrises and evening sunsets.
These high-end condos have high ceilings and open floor plans. There are one and two bedroom condos. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with a soaking tub and walk in shower which becomes more and more important as we age. There are laundry facilities in each unit.
The amenities include an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a sauna, a gym, a ballroom, activities, a community room, card/game room, a library, a billiard room, a full time handyman, a sprinkler system and 24 hour security.
The landscaping is beautiful and there is a gazebo and a soothing fountain on the premises.
Washington Grand is close to parks, shopping, public transportation to NYC and many highways, and restaurants.
One unit is on the market and is listed at $625,000. It is the largest unit and is 1642 SF. It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with 2 indoor parking spaces and an electric fireplace.
One condo is under contract and is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit listed at $489,000.
Four units sold in 2017. One 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo sold for $445,000. Another condo sold for $360,000. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. Another unit sold for $475,000 and has a den in addition to 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is about 1315 SF. The fourth unit sold for $615,000 and also has a den as well as 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.
