The newest upscale neighborhood to hit Lancaster, CA, boy, I am exited! This soon to be newest community, offers spacious homes for the entire family and easy access to shopping, dining and exciting entertainment.
No, I did not grow up here, far from it and today, I am living in the Antelope Valley more by accident then by choice, its a long story, well worth mentioning some day but today I rather talk about this "Coming Soon to East Lancaster" brand new housing developement.
Since I am fairly new to the area, the discussion among locals wether its better to live on the Westside compared to living on the Eastside, fascinates me. And, since I am a Realtor myself, I have to educate potential buyers of the plusses and minusses, not an easy task.
In my personal opinion, Westside versus living on the Eastside, complement each other nicely.
I just found out about a week ago about this brand new housing developement so you can now follow me around as I discover more about it and yesterday I decided to go and take some pictures of a piece of raw land that will soon be developed.
Why this piece of land has not yet been developed beats me. After all, its in a nice location and close enough to the Interstate 14 for those that commute to work.
On the corner of 20th Street East and Avenue J, is a shopping center that contains stores such as Walmart, Albertson's, McDonald's, the new Aldi store, Panda Express, El Pollo Loco and a bunch more. You got it all here, no need to travel to the Westside anymore.
So stay tuned, hope you are as exited as I am. Oh, one last tidbit for now, the developer is going to build 65 brand new homes here in East Lancaster, that is why the developement was named "Colony65" and is going to be a gated community with its own private Homeowners Association.
