Iowa native, Gary Wolter has joined Pinnacle Realty in Cedar Rapids and will be helping many new and current clients. Gary and his wife Melynda started "Wolter Team Realtors" in 2001.
As of late June, Gary has sold 4 homes and will list another one soon.
"We always kept our Iowa ties even after we moved to Gilbert/Mesa, AZ in late 2014. We have always had a referral team and would come back to assist while we visited family. When we received requests to sell a few more homes by our clients, I decided to come back and help some great friends," says Gary.
The Wolter Team sold 57 homes in 2013 and were #1 in sales volume at their Marion office in 2012 and 2013, and are proud that so many clients still call them even after they moved to Arizona. Gary says they have sold 22 homes since leaving Iowa in late 2014.
"Real estate has changed so much with technology and its becoming very easy to sell homes in two different states while having a team to assist the client in each facet of the transaction," Gary says.
He says that its much like a dentist's office, with a receptionist, (scheduler) hygeniest, assistant, and then the doctor, each person plays a role in servicing the client, for the best result. One Realtor can no longer do it all perfectly.
"The biggest thing I learned moving to a bigger area is that the days are numbered where a single agent can handle everything in a real estate transaction," Gary warns.
After 3 years with a large nationwide company and serving as the CEO/Team Leader, in February this year, Wolter Team Realtors started working with Revelation Real Estate, in Chandler AZ. Revelation is the largest single independent office in the nation, with over 800 agents, despite only doing business in the valley.
Working with a local company in both Iowa and Arizona is a huge benefit for us and our clients. The tools that a local company invests in fit better for us and how we serve our clients. "Premiere Personal Service" is a slogan we have been using for a few years now. With 75% of our business coming from referrals and even after 3 years of being mainly in Arizona, Gary feels flattered that he has the opportunity to help more Linn County, IA residents in 2018 and beyond.
