Melanie is originally from Maryland and moved to Florida 23 years ago. Melanie has an impressive resume in real estate and is truly a formidable combination of intellect and hustle. She single-handedly founded and built the preeminent short term vacation rental company, Cocoa Beach Best Vacation Rentals which serves Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, the Port and the rest of Brevard County. Building her company for this niche market gave Melanie a different perspective and understanding of the area that resulted in her developing a distinct edge in the short term rental market. Through this understanding, Melanie developed an insight into the pitfalls of investment real estate to avoid. Knowing these pivotal points makes all the difference to her owners and have garnered her a very loyal client following. Her unique background allows her to serve her clients better than anyone else in her niche market. Melanie provides accurate pricing, superior showing strategies and makes sure her properties retain their value. She has developed a comprehensive strategy of staging and marketing that the competition just can’t touch. Melanie knows her renters’ expectations — and creates spaces to “wow” them!
From the short term rental market, Melanie answered the requests of her property owners and branched out into real estate sales, founding Accent Realty, LLC. What this did was give Melanie insight into the needs of rental owners which has assisted them in increasing their holdings by not only adding additional units to their portfolios, but also by upgrading their investments through Starker 1031 exchanges. Her understanding of our geographic area and the Space Coast tourist market gives her a definitive edge in helping her clients build their real estate wealth.
At Palm Realty, as the managing broker of Palm Realty Property Management, Melanie will lead our agents in the very much sought after rental market. Along with maintaining Cocoa Beach Best Vacation Rentals, Melanie will head the property management division of Palm Realty, which will focus on our clients' long term rental needs. Melanie has homes in West Melbourne and a beachfront condo in Cocoa Beach. In her spare time, of which she has little, Melanie enjoys spending time with her three children and attending her son's sporting events.
