Downtown Winter Haven is going through many changes. Buildings are being updated, empty areas are being turned into usable space with additional parking. The restaurant Fire just completed its updates, giving it more usable space and a totally updated look. The empty building known as The Haven Center is being turned into The Taylor, a 75 room boutique hotel.
While discussing this with some people someone mentioned that Jensens Corner Bar had photos from 1926 blown up on the wall. Here is a short comparison video I made of the pictures from then vs now. Enjoy!
