If Gulch is a Bigger Gully...
Is Mulch a Bigger Pile of Mully?

Buyers that are relocating to your area may speak English very well. Maybe not.
But that's not what this post is about.
Sometimes, we, as insiders in the real estate industry use acronyms pertinent to the industry that clients may not understand. Maybe they do.
But that's not what this post is about.
"So WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, JUDI?"
I'm so glad you asked! :)
It's kinda' like this... depending upon what area you live in, that erroded place on your land listing may be called:
- a gully
- a wash
- a crevasse
- a small gulch
A "creek" where I live may be a "crick" where you live or maybe you're a little more refined and it's a stream?
A pond in my part of Oklahoma may be called something else somewhere else:
- a tank
- a pool
- a lagoon
- a lake
- a basin
- millpond
Sometimes it can make for interesting conversations....
I remember someone telling me about a tank in the western part of the United States... I thought they were talking about a metal tank that had been left on a piece of property... they were talking about a pond (or would be in Oklahoma!)
I also remember talking to someone in Utah about our big Oak trees.. In their area, oaks are small scrubby trees so a big Oak tree still wasn't very big.
I don't think I've ever heard of a car having a clully though as opposed to a clutch..:)
