Exactly right. We each have our own way of doing things and have our own systems. Those systems work for us, or at least we think they do. If they truly work, who's to argue? Thank you for sharing.

It didn't take long to figure out, I didn't like those people - not because of jealousy, I just felt ethically, I couldn't do what many were doing.

On the day I made up my mind to not pay attention to what others were saying and doing and just compete against myself, my world changed for the better. Kat Palmiotti is right, "the only thing that should matter is whether our way works for us."

Being professional is what I care about. Which company or RE model you follow is secondary, so long as you can make our transaction work.

Yes - wouldn't life be nice if we'd just go about our business and let others go about theirs.

It's not just in real estate. I don't like to think of the millions of people who have been killed over the years in the name of religion - because "My God is better than yours."

Results dont lie....

I always try to think “to each his own”. If we all did the same thing the same way it would be a very boring world. A client would have even a harder time choosing an agent because there would be no distinction between any of us.

Bravo Judi. I read a couple of posts this morning and was thinking the same thing. Glad I found your wonderful feature.  I get tired of hearing how someones way is the best, or only way. Not so. D

I also agree. There are many ways to sell real estate. As long as agents answer their phone and get their end of the job done, I have no complaints. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for anybody else.

Like the 1960s: Do Your Own Thing!

Everyone has their own opinions as to what works for them, but they should NOT be thrust on others. We've got the same goal (a successful closing) so working toward this is most important!
