I mentioned at the end of January that Suzanne and I had moved in a new direction without going into too much detail.
Here's the scoop!
We joined forces with Andrew Bloom of BVO Luxury Group with a handshake at the end of January, agreeing to wear several hats, and resolved it to writing in the middle of March.
Andrew is the CEO - Chief Executive Officer
Suzanne is the CTO - Chief Technology Officer (Hat 1)
Suzanne has responsibility for the techmology systems including CINC (Commissions Inc), Salesforce, REThink, Pardot, Ring DNA, Callfire, and the list goes on.
I am the COO - Chief Operating Officer (Hat 1)
From the job description "The Chief Operating Officer position provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. This position has overall supervisory responsibility for all corporate operations."
Suzanne does not report directly to me - she reports to Andrew (dodged that one)!
For the above "hats" we receive a percentage of the BVO Luxury Group GCI. No - not sharing that number publicly - just that a good friend of mine who is involved with Venture Cap and Private Equity assured me it is a very good number for "sweat equity"!
Hat Number 2 for Suzanne and me involves remaining in production. Due to the significant time commitment needed to launch Hats #1 we did not focus on production until this past week.
A $435K Listing we took in November finally received interest after the tenants vacated at the beginning of March and went under contract last week.
We took a listing at $499,900 on Friday evening, went Active Saturday, and an acceptable offer was received Sunday.
The Sellers of the Friday listing are putting in an offer on a $725K listing today.
We have another listing appointment this afternoon.
It's been a very busy weekend!
Hat Number 3 for us is Anthem Expansion Partner.
Andrew will focus his awesome marketing machine on Anthem - we will split the expenses of that campaign with him 50/50 and resulting transactions will be a 50/50 split.
In 2017 BVO Luxury Group closed 130 transactions with just over $70 Million in volume.
For 2018 our goals are to grow the team from 22 to at least 50, increase volume to $200 Million, with a correlating increase in transactions.
BVO Luxury Group Inventory is 54 listings at the time of writing this.
The week ending March 31 saw $14 Million go into escrow.
It's going to be a fun and rewarding 2018!
