23 Questions that help make a home sell faster
Does the house or any part of the house need painting?
Shall I reseed the lawn and get my landscaping in top shape?
What about the screens? Any holes? What about the windows? Do they work well, or do they need attention?
Does the carpet need cleaning?
Are pets under control at all times?
Are all appliances in good working order?
Should I stay out of a prospective buyers way?
What is the buyer's first impression of the exterior of my home? What can I do to improve it?
What is the buyer's first impression as they step inside my home? What can I do to improve it?
Since the buyer will be looking in the closets, should I take some of the clothes out to make them look roomier?
Can I take items from the kitchen cabinets to make them more spacious?
Is there any furniture I could store or dispose of ro make rooms appear larger?
Do any cabinets need to be touched up or refinished?
Should I give my Re/Max agent a list of things my family likes about the neighborhood and the house?
Should I remove any ornate items that the buyer may want as part of the house? For example a special chandelier? Or wall system?
What about the doormats - should I replace them?
Should I stay home to answer buyers questions when they look? Or would leaving make them feel more comfortable?
Are there any objectionable odors in my home?
Are there any squeaks or noises that need to be addressed?
Are window coverings blocking out sunlight?
Are there 3 light sources (lamps, cieling fixtures, etc.) on in every room for showings?
Is my home over decorated? (Simple and Neutral is best!)
Can I add some landscaping or a wreath to add color and interest to potential buyers when they drive by?
