In wrestling, there are 2 types of wrestlers. Those who go out there, don’t do anything, protect their lead, take no chances and hang on to the end and try to win by a point. Then you have those wrestlers who step on the gas pedal, take chances, and at the most critical moments of the match, that’s when they shine their brightest. There are those wrestlers who talk a lot and those wrestlers who DO a lot.
In life, which wrestler are you?
Are you afraid of getting out of bed and facing the day? Afraid to lose what you have? Afraid to take chances and risks? Always looking for a crutch or an excuse as to why you didn’t win or couldn’t show up?
Or are you the wrestler who is willing to put it all on the line and see how great you can be? See how high your ceiling is? See what the human spirit is capable of? Are you willing to make the true sacrifices and true commitments it takes to be great?
Do you talk a lot or do you DO a lot?
For this day and every day moving forward, I’m lacin’ up the shoes, strappin’ on that headgear and goin’ pedal to the metal people. Last I checked, I’ve got one shot at life and I’m takin’ it. Face your fears and you will overcome them. Nothing is more powerful than the human spirit. Let’s do this!!
