Understanding The POWER of HABIT

DON’T SHORT CUT YOURSELF ON HABIT

After over 35 years as a real estate agent, I finally saw the truth about habit and how powerful it really is.

Have you heard it takes 21 days to create a habit? Well ignore that, if you are serious about making a change.

If you are looking to make a change, and want to create a new habit, you should consider what I have to say here.

Right now, I feel like I felt 30 years ago! This is the most remarkable feeling and change I have ever experienced in my 35+ years of sales.

To create a new habit, please, make it a point to do what ever it is for 90 days to see the habit being in place.

For six months I have experienced back pain.

A former client recommended CBD the day before Thanksgiving. Having no idea what it was I did it. (no, you do not have to have a card to purchase it)

After 10 days I noticed my pain went from 15 hours spread out through the day to one hour spread through the day.

Finally, after five doctors who my insurance company and I paid money to with no results.

Finally, a Doctor who knew what to do, gave me gabapentin which is for NERVE PAIN. It worked somewhat.

The last 90 days of this event I was using a walker to keep weight off my left leg, left hip and lower back. (remember what I just said)

Finally, this past Thursday, I went under the knife, 90 minutes.

Before going out, I told them I wanted to be at P F Chang for dinner at 6:30p.m.

The response was, you may not make that, my response: Ok 6:45

Well I did not make it until 8:00p.m.

What was unusual, no pain, and no walker.

Do you have any idea what I have felt like for the past week?

I am a new human being!

And almost every time I head toward my car I am opening the trunk with the remote to put my walker in the trunk or get it out of the trunk.

Read that line again!

That shows you the power of habit.

Take this lesson on a physical and medical situation and the power of habit, use it toward your sales career, for a change in your production.
