That is very true Kevin J. May , if we can see them, they aren't a big problem.  If we don't see them and step on them or they feel threatened, that is when they are dangerous.

Yes, that was a rattler Myrl Jeffcoat and would indeed be dangerous.  This one was napping when we came upon it, so it was not dangerous on that day.

Yes, it is definitely important to keep an eye on the trails for critters Ron and Alexandra Seigel 

I certainly would have been running if the snake wasn't napping Beth Atalay and I don't take long enough to figure out what kind of snake they are either, haha.

I too am surprised that was the first time I had seen them on the trails Debbie Reynolds , but if I never saw another one on the trails, that would be fine with me, haha.

Hmm, sounds like Sharon Tara might have to work her magic and have you reacting to finding a snake on the trail, haha.  Just kidding of course, she went above and beyond with Barbara Todaro's pet alligator, haha.
