Yesterday I found someone new to cut my lawn. It is never easy to find someone who is reliable and honest and comes as expected. Typically I get two years and then things fall apart for one reason or another. This young man came to me from someone at the Antique Gallery. He was once her student many years ago. Fingers crossed.
We have to make a change, we've had a call in for over two weeks to the guy who usually does special projects for us. He's been our go-to guy for over ten years. Guess, he's too busy to call back for a new job. ?? Hope your new landscaper works out.

I have lived in my house for 35 years, and have had just 3 landscapers in all that time. My latest have been with me 12 years. They are a pair of brothers, who I could set a clock on, they are that timely each Wednesday morning. I love them both!

Hi Debb. I just don't get it. I pay as soon as I get my bill and only ask for what we agreed upon. Hope you find someone too. TY Sheila
Hi Myrl. Oh how I envy you for your brothers. Have a wonderful day. Sheila
Hope it all works out for you. I find that communication is key...I've had the same landscaper for many years and we continue to communicate about how I want things specifically done each year.

Hello Maria. I communicate and then leave them to do the job. When statuary and lights are broken I v=can't move on with them. TY Sheila
Sheila,
In Los Angeles, we had 3. The last one was the best, he actually paid attention to what was important for us. Now we have a wonderful man. His young son is saving for college and he does work for us...He is such a wonderful kid and very conscientious. What more could we ask for? A

Hi Sheila: I've gone through 3 sets of gardners in Hawaii, and while the last guy got me a warning letter from the HOA and cut up some of my drip lines, I stick with him because I'm tired of looking for gardeners, LOL.
However, the guy I use and recommend in Sacramento is a former client. I've sold several homes for him, and he's done my lawn for 10 years. I saw him yesterday when I asked him to remove the cactus garden and put in grass. It's overgrown and out of control. We can control grass.

Hi Elizabeth. I have always found it tough. I had a former client in NJ and he was great. I miss him here. TY Sheila
Glad you found a new landscaper. Getting someone who is referred by someone else is usually the way to go. It's how I found mine.

Morning Sheila.
We had a new guy over yesterday. Sadly, he will not work out, so my wife is on the hunt again

I agree that the job becomes less and less satisfactory. I hope this will work out for you, Sheila.
