Goergina, I'm like a child with a new toy when I get a listing.  Fortunately(for my seller), my attention span with my new toy is a little bit longer than a childs!

It is a great thing to feel that way. I get excited meeting my clients, and going over their new home with them.

I always admit 2007 was a bust for me after a banner 2006.  I have now partnered up with a newly licensed Agent and have been rejuvinated.  So marketing it the aggressive way is the only way to get through in today's environment.

I love when I get to create a new flyer, Real Estate Show, property site...it IS like having a new toy!  The marketing side of being a listing agent is my favorite part :)

I'm glad you made this post Georgina, I always get excitied with a new listing because I'm passionate about what I do. The agents with the Ho-Hum attitude make me wonder if they really love what they do.

Georgina:  I do get excited when I get a new listing.  I love putting the pictures into the MLS and making up the brochures.

I still get excited every time I get a new listing, I hope it always stays that way. :)

I think the fact that I get excited is one of the reasons clients come to me to sell their homes.

Georgina, I do all that, and more.  Even before I get there, I'm already thinking of what I can do differently.  I put together really nice colour brochures to leave at the house, so every potential buyer can take one away (they won't forget the property that way).  I try to pass by the house, even before the listing appointment, to take a great photo of the outside, and start the colour brochure that I take with me to the listing presentation, to give them a first look at what the brochure will look like.  I fill in the inside with other colour photos, not necessarily of their house, but their house shows on the front - and that usually is a great start. I love it.  I have worked mostly with buyers, but I do get all excited about new listings.

Some times its nice to know that you are loved. What better way to say then we will you help me sell my home.

Gorgeous and spectacular views from this home!  I know what you mean about being excited when you get a listing.  I always have a confidence boost when I get a listing.  It make me feel sure about my talent.

Georgina- I love that picture and thought that was your new listing.....it says "Buy me"!  Anyway, yes I still get excited over a new listing.....because now I don't take ones that I don't think will sell for one reason or another........I could feel your enthusiasm....nice :)
