Trulia Joel Burslem posted on his blog The Future of Real Estate marketing about Trulia now throwing Agents a Bone. What he means is that Trulia now allows agents to have a link to them to all of this listings.

I thought this was great news and immediately went over and attached my profile from Trulia to all my listings. I could find all but one of them, so will contact Rudy today.

If you have been out in the blogosphere the last couple of weeks, you know there is has been a lot of back on forth on the use of Trulia widgets on your blog or website. The controversary was we were sending consumers back to Trulia and cthe leads were not going to the agents.

Now Trulia has added a feature where you can add your profile to all of your listings.

Here are some posts on the issues. The comments are very engaging from all perspectives.

Trulia’s web ranking strategies catch heat. On Inman News.

Truliamazing tricks of the trade. On Bloodhound Blog by Galen Ward

Search Engines, Trulia and Googlygook on the Trulia Blog.

When I received an email this morning from the Future of Real Estate Marketing, about now being able to add your profile to you listings, I went and added my profle to all of mine.

If you answer questions on Trulia Voices, your profile is already set up so it was just the simple process of finding the house or condo you listed nd adding you profile.

Hey, this is FREE.

R dot com makes you pay for it.

One point for Trulia, 0 for r dot com.

Here is a video to help you get started.

That is great news Missy!   I'm going to bookmark this so I don't forget about it.  I just recently sent R.com a notice that I won't renew their enhanced service, so this is nice timing.  Thanks.

Outstanding! I have to go back and update my listing info. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi Missy,
I have work to do on Trulia.  The more free exposure, the better.  Thanks for taking the time to update those of us who do not do as well keeping up.  :0)

Missy,

I`ve been with T.com since the onset.

T.com is nothing but a glorified Yahoo.com web site for Realtors.

Good morning Missy - I haven't done Trulia yet. I will need to go check it out. Thanks for the informtion.

Every where you can put a portal to contact you is what is nessacary. You never know where the next lead will come from. Gone are the days of leads from just print ads and yard signs.

Great news Missy!  I will get busy on this by the end of the week! I have always been a fan of Trulia because they work well with agents.  This is just one more example that they want to be our partner not our competitor!  Thanks!  Steve

05/22/2008 06:34 AM by Steve Homer (The HBH Group (Keller Williams affiliate))

My listings all show up on Trulia...through vflyer and postlets and seem to link back to my other sites.

05/22/2008 06:41 AM by Neal Bloom-Realtor ® Assoc.-CRS-Weston FL (RE/MAX Premier Associates)

My postlets do syndicate to Truila but somehow don't match to my profile.....did I break Truiia too?

05/22/2008 06:48 AM by Julie Chapman Realty Homes Brunswick Georgia

Missy, thanks for the update on trulia. Looks like we have another opportunity to put ourselves out there. This kind of makes me wish we had a few more listingd!

05/22/2008 06:53 AM by Birmingham Alabama Real Estate, Stephen Wolfe (LivingInBirmingham.com)

Missy thanks for the heads up on this. I can not seem to see where Trulia has upped the amount of links you can add from 2 to 5 like Joel mentions?

05/22/2008 07:01 AM by Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty)

Neal, now you can have your profile on the front of the listing.

Chapman Realty, check how you set your profile up, you can edit it. It may not be matching the feed or listings you gave them.

Bill, I'll go take a look.

05/22/2008 07:04 AM by Missy Caulk-Ann Arbor- Realtor(R)- Ann Arbor Real Estate (Keller Williams-Ann Arbor)

Ahhh so Postlets links there too...  Hmmm...  I may have quite a few links into Trulia since KWLS links there as well...  All the more reason to check out this profile thing.  Thanks again for bringing it to my attention, Missy!

05/22/2008 07:42 AM by Steve Homer (The HBH Group (Keller Williams affiliate))

Missy--Thanks for the update...KW sends over the listings but I didn't know that I could personalize. I will have to update my Trulia profile.

05/22/2008 07:51 AM by Teri Eckholm, REALTOR® Anoka County Acreage & Lakeshore Homes (Keller Williams Premier Realty)

Teri and Steve, they do IF they get put in KWLS. All of mine on Trulia came from different sources.

Bill, I have links to my sites in my profile, it takes html. Since this new feature I added more to my profile. We can also now track the viewings.

I just noticed this the other day, and so far have found and claimed a few of my listings.  I need to take the time to get over there and make sure all of my listings are pointing to me.  Way to go Trulia.

05/22/2008 08:06 AM by Ryan Hukill - Edmond Realtor® (Hukill Group - Paradigm AdvantEdge Real Estate)

Missy - Thanks for the update. I'll take advantage of it right now.

05/22/2008 08:29 AM by Larry Brewer Nashville real estate (Keller Williams - Franklin tn)

I got that email this morning too, Missy.  It's on the to-do list for today...since the listings are already syndicated there, there is no reason to not update a profile and try to capture the leads!

05/22/2008 09:39 AM by Lisa Heindel, New Orleans West Bank Real Estate (Latter & Blum Inc. Realtors)

Hmmm... more on Trulia, eh?

I will have ot go see what we can do to use this to advantage... Thanks Missy...

Hello Missy, I got an email from Trulia about this new feature and updated all my listings in about 2 minutes. Very easy. Not sure about all the blogs about Trulia snatching our google juice. My own link has always been on my Trulia listings page and my ranking on google and yahoo searches keeps getting better and better. (Thanks a lot to my AR participation) Thanks for the post and good luck this year! Don't be surprised if we are back in the big game!!!!

Missy I've tried unsussefully to update my listings and include all of my open houses however the system just allows one open house.  Any suggestions?

Missy, is Trulia only for realtors?  Can a Mortgage loan officer build an identity?  or does in not make sense? AJ

Funny I had done this today and here is your post, telling me to go do it.  Thanks for the heads-up.  Had I not stumbled upon it accidently today I would be headed there now.  Thanks again!

05/22/2008 04:16 PM by Joshua and Kathy Schmidt (ERA Armstrong Team Realtors)

Consumers are using Trulia, so it only makes sense for agents to have a presence there. Tying our profiles to our listings is a bonus, and just makes it that much easier for us to be found. It's nice to see that Trulia listens to agent feedback and concerns, and impressive that they can react so quickly.

05/22/2008 04:25 PM by John Novak - Las Vegas and Henderson NV Real Estate (Keller Williams Realty The Marketplace)

Missy - this is great information!  Thank you for sharing with us.  I don't typically frequent Trulia, but I may be changing my routine now.  Again - thanks.

05/22/2008 05:41 PM by Carol Smith (Soon to be Keller Williams Preferred Realty)

I got an email too this morning and went right over and started branding all my listings.  I was using Trulia for my listings before Coldwell Banker started using it, but once Coldwell Banker arranged to feed in all of our listings, I no longer was able to have my listings link to my own website.  It has always annoyed me.  Trulia still links each of my listings to coldwellbanker.com but now there is the contact me button with this new branding option that can direct buyers to me.  I feel better getting to put my smiling face on my listings, just my possessive nature :)

05/22/2008 06:32 PM by Beth Anderson ~ Tecumseh / Lenawee County ~Realtor (Success, Realtors)

Missy, Thank you for posting about this.  I think Rudy took a lot of heat about this at the Bloodhound Unchained conference.  I'm sure it wasn't the first time, either.
