How fun is this, Kimo? I love how leis look... but because I'm somewhat allergic to many scents always have to be very careful about what I hange around my neck when in Hawaii.

Aloha Nina Hollander,  there are many non-floral leis that include  traditional materials such as feathers, seeds, nuts, shells, and fragrant leafy vines; then there is the contemporary fare like ribbons,  candy, money, small toys, and the perennial favorite, airline bottles of booze. Take your pick and have fun!

Aloha Sally K. & David L. Hanson, I love the fragrant white florals and the old school carnation leis, as well as, puakinini and pakalana. However, there are many amazing leis made from all sorts of media. Thanks for the visit
