Have you heard about the sign that someone was holding during a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton? It said : "HILLARY, SHINE MY SHOES".  Very little press covered this story.

Ok, let's suppose someone at an Obama campaign held the sign: "OBAMA, SHINE MY SHOES".  What press do you think that would have received????  It would have made NATIONAL news on every television station.

SEXISM VS. RACISM.  Sexism in our country is accepted.  Racism is not accepted.

Is this FAIR?????  Should the color of our skin be held as "sacred", but our sex is not "sacred"?

What do you think?

5 Comments on "Iron my shirt" VS "Shine my shoes": Hillary VS Obama

Good Point. That would have been a big story.

Prejudice is alive in many things.  Sad but true facts:

Some will not vote for Hilary because of her sex.

Some will not vote for Obama because of his race.

Some will not vote for John McCain because of his age.

It has come a long way, but our world has a long way to go for freedom for all from prejudice.

I think the Hillary sign said, Iron my Shirts. At least that is what my wife told me and then she made the same point about Obama and a shine my shoes sign. Both should be sacred is the answer or if not sacred at least respected.  You are right in your post

Nothing personal but I don't care for either of them.  I want Ronald Reagan back!!!

Sexism or Racism should have no part in anything but the media and people in general will use anything they can to put down others.  We need to look at national security first, and determine who is qualified to carry that load.  IMO none of them are qualified.

I smell a rat here. When Hillary was the raging favourite, there were no claims of pervasive sexism. When she falls behind, it turns out that Obama is only getting a run because he's black and because overnight, there's sexism.

Coincidence? Nothing is coincidental in American politics.

She probably set up the guy to call it out in just the way she got the question she wanted at that interview where she turned on the waterworks. That's something no male could get away with. Obama not connecting with 'white workers'? Anyone can get away with that.

The Clinton campaign reeks with hypocrisy.
