What is CAMP?

CAMP is the Chris A. Matthews Project, and was created in memory and honor of our dear friend, Chris Matthews. Chris Matthews was a Colorado Springs' adult with Autism. He was a young man who positively touched the lives of hundreds of people across the nation. To know Chris, was to love him.

Because of the lack of necessary local support, Chris had to live outside of El Paso County and away from the natural support of his friends and family. There is a HUGE NEED for the financial support of programs that help people with developmental disabilities in El Paso County.

What is a Developmental Disability?

The goal of CAMP is to build, maintain, sustain and operate a group home (and eventually several group homes) for people with developmental disabilities, here in El Paso County.

What is the Wagner iTeam Doing to help CAMP?
