A little dream a little reality
Who says dream can't come true? As some of you know I am a real estate agent who does a lot of training. I write most of my own courses and create my own power point presentations. I've been training for many years and in my former real estate office I was the training director in charge of it all.
During the past 4 years I've been hired by many individual offices, boards and associations to conduct workshops and seminars. While I'm pretty busy writing and updating courses, I've also been renting space at my local board office and putting on my own workshops basically hiring myself. When I hire myself, it means I work close to home and I really like that.
I usually get great reviews and people like taking my classes but at my board office I can only teach one class. The same one over and over again!
Long story short I have been extremely limited by my board as to what I can teach there. They have had a long term verbal contract with another educator and no one else can teach any real estate related topics that she covers. So after a while I decided to look elsewhere to hold my classes. My main concern about leaving the board office is the boards location is so easy to get to and so well known. Would I lose my following?
I was and am nervous!
Taking a leap of faith Jay and I entered into an agreement with a local title company to rent out space in their partially finished lower level conference room. We needed to renovate and then set up for classes with chairs, tables and stuff like that. We needed to have electrical work, sheet rock work and carpet stuff done.
My budget was limited, my willpower strong and my husband very supportive...actually more than supportive...he had the vision.

We have some very close awesome friends Brad and Liz Yasika, who own a company called Craft Master Woodworking,LLC. They lent us a hand, actually more than a hand. Without Brad we would not have been able to create our Training Center...he gave us his time, his creativity and his muscle as he and Jay toiled together to finish my little room.
My little dream became a reality. I will be holding my first class in my New Hampshire Training center on March 9th and I am so excited that I wanted to share it with you all! Thanks to Jeff Turner I can show you a little of what my Training Center looks like. It's not completely finished yet but close enough.
